3 Ways Sauna Bathing Can Improve Mental and Physical Performance
We all want to be our best. Whether we’re trying to secure a raise at work, keep up with active kids or weather uncertain times. With health and wellness prioritized, it’s important to stay in tip top shape mentally and physically. Have you discovered the benefits of heat bathing?
Here are 3 ways using a sauna for minutes a day can improve total performance.
Work and family can be complicated, with many of us pulled in several directions at once. While some stress is normal, when it lingers it can lead to chronic health problems. Sauna bathing is a smart way to target stress that triggers a stiff neck or tight shoulders. Lounge in the dry heat delivered by a sauna and muscles and joints relax on contact, soothing away tension. Use a sauna daily and banish chronic stress for good.
Aches and pains are part of life, whether they’re the result of injury, age or just wear and tear. While drugs can provide relief, it’s tough to be your best when you’re taking medication. With a sauna at home, it’s possible to ease pain in a more natural way. Heat targets pain all over the body, freeing you from pain pills and drugs so you can stay sharp.
Environmental toxins from everyday life clog the skin, but they also impact us internally too. Without knowing it, brain performance suffers as blood circulation slows, cells regenerate at a slower pace, and response is delayed. Using a sauna encourages a deep sweat resulting in faster cell rejuvenation, increased stamina and a healthier circulatory system with oxygen and nutrients delivered to cells and critical organs faster.

About Bend Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bend,_Oregon
Bend is a city in and the county seat of Deschutes County, Oregon, United States. It is the principal city of the Bend Metropolitan Statistical Area. Bend is Central Oregon’s largest city and, despite its modest size, is the de facto metropolis of the region, owing to the low population density of that area. Bend recorded a population of 76,693 at the time of the 2010 U.S. Census, up from 52,029 at the 2000 census. The estimated population of the city as of 2019 was 100,421. The Bend metro population was estimated at 197,488 as of July 16, 2019. It is the fifth largest metropolitan area in Oregon.
Bend is located on the eastern edge of the Cascade Range along the Deschutes River. There the Ponderosa pine forest transitions into the high desert, characterized by arid land, junipers, sagebrush, and bitterbrush. Originally a crossing point on the river, settlement began in the early 1900s. Bend was incorporated as a city in 1905. Economically, it started as a logging town but is now identified as a gateway for many outdoor sports, including mountain biking, fishing, hiking, camping, rock climbing, white-water rafting, skiing, paragliding, and golf. In 2015, Men’s Journal ranked Bend as one of the “10 Best Places to Live Now”.
