A hot tub and hot cocoa on Christmas Eve

Many Americans will be celebrating Christmas Eve tonight. Gathering together with friends and family to reconnect, celebrate, and reflect on all that is good in the world. Everyone has their own traditions to celebrate the holidays. Have you thought of making your hot tub part of the night’s festivities?

Here’s a new holiday tradition idea: Take in the silent night of Christmas Eve in the peace and quiet of your hot tub outside. Make the bubbly waters of your hot tub the place to get away from all the electronic influences in our lives and just enjoy each other! After you’re done using the jets, soak in the healing waters and sing a Christmas carol or two together. Sharing a carol in the hot tub is a creative cozy way to wrap up the evening.

Once you finish up your soak, get bundled up indoors and get ready to settle down with a nice cup of hot peppermint cocoa. Continuing the warmth of the hot tub into your tummy with some holiday-enhanced chocolaty goodness is a great nightcap for the whole clan. We’re including a recipe here for homemade peppermint hot chocolate. (Fun accent—hang a mini candy cane on the rim of the mug when serving.) Give it a try, and let us know if you’ve made the hot tub part of your holiday tradition!

And, from all of us at Oregon Hot Tub, happy holidays!
