What’s the best burger to celebrate National Barbecue Month?
Oregon Hot Tub has just arrived at the phenomenon that is the Big Green Egg. We know there are a lot of you out there that are BIG Big Green Egg fans—and we’re right there with you!
You may have seen that we’ve had the B.G.E. aficionado, Dr. BBQ, visiting our showrooms to share is “Egg-spertise” with our customers. Since May is National Barbecue Month, we thought you might like to try out one of Dr. BBQ’s recipes for the best burgers—which he stuffs with yummy ingredients. With Memorial Day weekend fast approaching, we think these burgers will be a big hit at your gathering! (We know our owner, Sue, will especially love the version Dr. BBQ grills up here using blue cheese!)
What you’ll need:
Ground beef (80% lean with 20% fat for optimal grilling)
Generous slices of hearty beefsteak tomatoes
Thick slices of fresh mozzarella cheese
Crumbled blue cheese
Your favorite BBQ rub for seasoning
Set your Egg for direct cooking at 400 degrees and watch this video to see Dr. BBQ’s preparation techniques…and grill away!
